Did you even take the time to *read* the rest of Greg's post?
There is a lot of very good, extremely important, academic CS
research done by people employed or stipended by Microsoft. The
same can be said of Sun. I don't imagine you'd want to bitch about
that too, would you?
Microsoft's business practices may be bad in some respects, but it
is moronic and close-minded to condemn anything and everything
associated with them. And, imho, wholly juvenile and inappropriate
on a mailing list about NetBSD.
