The kernel is looking for it at a predefined IRQ and base I/O. It sees
your card because yours is programmed with the right I/O, so it probes it,
but can't reach it because your IRQ differs from where the kernel is
looking...this happens with NE2000 ISA all the time.
Copy/paste the part of DMESG where it probes it.
