I think that Pkgsrc assumes nothing other than itself put files under
/usr/pkg. (or whatever LOCALBASE)

If a package managed by Pkgsrc dynamically links to a not-Pkgsrc
library, the dependency information will run mangled so that you can't
do "make update". This was true before the "buildlink" introduced, but
I have no idea if this is true for now...
