I have read previous postings about upgrading.

I have customised kernel to do raid-5. Now if I have untared all the 1.5.2
sets except etc.tgz. and afterwards checking etc files by hand. I still have
a problem about the customised kernel.

The GENERIC kernel does not have raid setup. Do I have to download the
syssrc.tar.gz  and untarred it in order to have the latest syssrc? Then I
have to use the my customised GERENIC set to compile a kernel before I
reboot the server?
