I guess I use the same mouse. It is a mouse with two buttons and a
wheel in the middle which works as a button as well. Probably you
might want to use the wheel as well, so here is my relevant part of
XF86Config:

    Identifier  "Mouse1"
    Driver      "mouse"
    Option "Protocol"    "wsmouse"
    Option "Device"      "/dev/wsmouse0"
    Option "Buttons"     "5"
    Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
