fdisk reports a BIOS geometry of 1024/16/63 for the first disk
and 1023/255/63 for the second one (NetBSD geometry is the same
238216/16/63). This causes the NetBSD partition not to begin on
a cylinder boundry on the first disk.

Which version of the netbsd boot code are you using?
Will the netbsd mbr code load winxp of the first disk?
