hmmm i agree.  i'd never thought about it, but these definately
belong in the kernel set.  and no, the will fail (gracefully) to
load on an MP kernel (or one with different DIAGNOSTIC, DEBUG, 
or LOCKDEBUG [and maybe some more])...
