Yes APM works fine, just wanted to run with ACPI to get the nice output from envstat -r :)

I just have one problem with APM on this notebook, the screen gets
distorted from the top of the screen and 2-3cm down when I run Xfree
and suspends it, everything else such as keyboard and mouse works after the
suspend. I haven't played around with the settings for Xfree so that may
help.
