ftp -4 -p ftp.netbsd.org makes no difference. ( Matthias )
IPv6 is not configured ( Tim )
What kind of firewall and internet connection is it? ( Manuel )
I don't know. I'll have to ask the sysadmins here.
Let you know if I can find out.

ftp basically works.
and through my employers firewall.
but for some reason it is ALLERGIC to netbsd!
ALL OF A SUDDEN.
only in the last few weeks.
I've just got no idea.
If any guru's out there would know what could be happening,
