|  Yes, that's normal. The disks are almost only writing and there is
|  no memory for the filecache. But this was already the case for 2.0.

  I think someone (I believe it was tls) experimented once with
distributing the write queue around, so there wouldn't be the
"nothing for 30 seconds, then frantic activity"-phenomenon.

  I have no idea what the conclusion was -- anybody remembers?
