Are you using the changes in usb_subr.c incorporated Into NetBSD-3.x
and, in the NetBSD-2 branch after Decemberr 6 or so? These are the changes
Nathanw put in in 1.131 of the file, I think, and they made a huge
difference for a number of devices I own which were giving messages similar
to yours.
