Hi Greg,

I had the same problems getting a ral(4) cardbus card to work on a T42p
with 2Gb of RAM.  I tried various settings but with no luck.  Seeing
your email and setting RBUS_MIN_START to 2Gb seems to have fixed the
problem for me.

So I'd vote for (2).
