I'm actually running amd64 (on an intel D945GTP motherboard), but
there's way more traffic here, and this happens when running i386 as
well ...
I only get a fraction of my dmesg stored in the message buffer. The
rest of it looks
like this:
M^?M^?M^?M^?M^?M^?M^?M^?M^?M^?M^?M^?M^?M^
I have had this happen before after a warm boot, but this happens to me
regardless. Is there any way to prevent this from happening? I'd like to
be able to read the message buffer.
Regards,
