... I don't trust in memtest that much, it didn't find anything wrong with my previous desktop machine and yet one SIMM was clearly broken.
memtestplus was instrumental in finding a memory problem on one of my machines. Yes, it took many hours to get there, but the results were enough to convince Kinston to replace a 2GB DDR3 DIMM.
