hi,

i just made cable from three coaxial cables ended with BNC connectors and
connected it to my DG AviiON machine and DG monitor which i got with it but it
looks like the output frequency is too high or somtething is wrong with sync.

machine is Data General AViiON 530 with graphics card which i can not identify
(nothing on net) and i still do not have any manual. strigs found on it:

COPYRIGHT (c) 1990 DATA GENERAL CORPORATION (ALL RIGHTS RESERVED)
8 B/P GRAPHICS BOARD 107003189 04/07 COMPONENT SIDE
UL CODE A50 94V-0 FO 016 (this one is probably identification code for the
laminate board itslef)

sticker1: *PN005034269* *RE06* *DT9416*
sticker2: SNMS1009192800

monitor is Sony GDM-1601 with Data General logo (in very ugly box ;)).
it has 3 BNC connectors for RGB and 2 for sync (HD and VD). i searched for
any documents desribing this monitor and it looks like sync on green should
be enough (3 BNC on both sides).

picture after boot looks like white(?) rectangle in the center and blue
rectangles upper and lower. text is in the center but everything is unreadable
because each line is shifted against uppoer/ower one and it shakes sometimes.
(depends on position of G connector)

i am using standard 50 ohm cables and standard BNC connectors but i do not
think this could be the problem, but i could be wrong..

any ideas?
