Kinda off-topic, but a quick search hasn't yielded much info
about this system.

Someone Else has a DG Aviion 5500, sans disk and RAM.  Disk 
is easy, but on RAM i have no idea.

Not having seen the machine, can someone tell me what memory we
should be looking out for? 

A few commercial places list memory for it (without specs), but
cheap "compatible" stuff that works would be ideal. The box
is a rescue, so it doesn't owe us anything.

Does it install in pairs/quads? Any minimum amount required?

Are there any gotchas with the terminal? 9600/8n1?
