After the initial "novice" questions, and the help I received (for which I
am very gratefull) I am now faced with the fact that the system thinks my
keyboard is a US type (qwerty) whereas I'm typing on a azerty layout
keyboard (flemisch if you please!).
How can I tell the system what layout it's confronted with.

I have looked in previous mail lists (using david "search" engine but found
no direct clues)

I'm not scared to edit files, but please don't ask me to compile anything (yet)
