This is not really related to MacBSD, but:

I think it would be really fantastic if someone could convert the installer
to an app that would explode .tgz files on the mac-side as well (this would
just be easier than using macgzip then some mac-tar app).  I'm sure the
mac-community as a whole would like to see such an app.
