This has probably been already asked, but I installed everything onto a
IIvx, and had it booting and running fine, until one boot i got up to the
floppy0 at main0 message (or whatever that floppy message is just before
you finish booting into singleuser), and I got a message "init: file not
found".

I tried to reinstall the kernel, no dice. I then went into the mini-shell,
and when I did either a dir or ls in /, i got everything listed, but out of
order, but I also got a message of "fstat: file not found". Nothing
seemed to get rid of this.

Now at this point I am reinstalling BSD right now, but what could I have
done wrong to get these messages? I'll admit that a couple of times i
didn't run fschk and brought the system right up to multi-user right away,
but it seemed to run fine when it was running.

However, the more i booted it, the more users got stuck when I was using
dt. For example, i'd log in, and do "w". It'd only show the one user, on
the console. Then i run dt, getting 3 terminals. I'd show 4 users logged
in. Then, later, if I exit all 3 virtual terminals, and then exit the
shell, getting back to the prompt, then logg back in, "w" would show 8
users - 2 on the console, and 2 on each virtual terminal. I haven't even
started "dt" yet either. When I do a "ps -a", all I get is my current
login shell, and ps running. Ideas? I _was_ using dt-1.1.3.

Thanks.

Shawn.
