That's one way to do it, but the preferred method is to paste the 
resources into your Resedit Preferences file.  That way if you ever want 
to move back to the unpatched version (unexplained crashes, etc) you 
can just trash the file and a new one will be built when you run 
ResEdit.  (And besides, the preferences file takes up a *lot* less disk 
space than an extra copy of the program --10K originally, 157K with the 
CODE and kcs# editor, as compared to 651 for the program itself.  :-)
