I tried to recompile my kernel with Bill Studenmund's ser.c.121195,
following the instructions in the howto on puma with no luck (I'd get the
URL, but puma is down right now.) The compiler complains (quite excessivly)
about various *.o files referencing non existant _vop* symbols from both
text and data segments. As my C programming skills are in thier infancy
I'm pretty clueless.
I noticed that updating the compiling instructions was on Allen's todo
list. Are the current howto instructions so old that they won't work with
1.1, or am I doing something wrong? I got the source from
ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/NetBSD/NetBSD-1.1/source/ksrc11/, and all the cksums
were fine.
PS. To Allen, if someone answers my request I'll update the compile howto
for you.
