Has anyone gotten anywhere on the Classic II.  I would like to 
help with getting a port to work, do you know if compiling any of the 
code w/ MacMiNT (which runs fine on my system) would produce viable results?

To rehash:

The Color Classic appears to work (I believe) from the serial console.. I 
don't know about the Classic II.. I have no way of testing it.

The vanilla kernel, however, freezes (no error warnings) at the:
