Thanks very much to Allen Briggs for the advice he gave me regarding
getting my system up and running.

I now have a working system on a Classic II with 6 megs of ram and an
external 84 meg netbsd drive. I'm using the for.mays kernel. It boots to a
serial console in both single and multi user mode (after changing the
console to tty00 from ttye0)

The only problem I occasionally have is it dropping out to the debugger
with a message about a DMA interrupt with no DMA or something - will try
and write it down next time!. It appears to happen more or less at random.

By the way - if a Performa 550 has Classic II ROMS would this kernel be any
use for it - I noticed an enquiry about the P550 a few messages back.
