There are two Sonics... Sonic Systems makes ethernet cards and
National Semiconductor makes the DP83932 which is also called the
SONIC. Apparently the Sonic Systems ethernet card, above, is
Apple compatible and is made with the DP8390 or 83902 (also called
the NIC (which is also used more generally), I think).
The DP83932 is what is not yet supported.
