Hello all. Acting on the hunch provided by recent posts, I removed the
extra RAM SIMMS I'd plugged into my LCII -- removing the two 4Meg chips
dropped my 10Meg Mac to 4Megs (and if that looks like bad math, blame Apple
:) -- and the problems I'd had with john's ADBTEST.# kernels has
disappeared -- so it's pretty obvious the problem lies in memory mapping
the LCII.

So far, runs like a charm with ADBTEST.137 right out of the box.

I may later put back one of the two and see if it still works.

Unfortunately, I've just discovered I misplaced the other.  Off
to look for it....
