Kernel built from -current supped today, May 12. System startup dialog
does not indicate that _any_ grf<n> devices were configured. Needless to
say, X (the B&W version) doesn't run too well without any grf's :)

Also, I tried booting the newest color-X kernel (GENERIC #8, dated May
9), and it just completely hangs after displaying the message "nubus0 at
mainbus0" (by hang, I mean you can't even use the panic button to cause
an NMI to enter the debugger).

System configuration: Mac IIci with lots of disks, 24MB memory, with
E-Machines Futura-SX 24-bit QD video card (set to 1-bit depth before
booting MacBSD). Internal video exists, but there's no monitor attached
to it; the only monitor is on the -SX card; startup dialog correctly
indicates that there's no internal video.

And, the grf section from my config file (continuations inserted by me
for readability):

config netbsd	root on sd1 \
			swap on sd1 and sd2 and sd0 and vnd0 \
			dumps on sd0b

	nubus0 at mainbus0

	grf* at nubus0

	ncrscsi0	at obio0 # SCSI NCR 5380

	scsibus0	at scsi0
