Don't give up, this is the same machine that I use, and it runs fine.
Did you turn 32 bit memory -on- ?
How much memory do you have?
what version are you running?
A very tough to find problem I had early on was that I had 20 meg of memory, 4-4's and 1-1's and I had them in the wrong banks. They worked fine under macos, but wouldn't work under NetBSD.
