There's an important distinction to be made...this is not Linux running 
on a PowerMac ... this is Mach running on a PowerMac, and a Linux 
single-server running on top of the microkernel.  At least, this was the 
architecture of it last I checked (couple of months ago; I doubt the 
architecture has changed much :-)

For all intents and purposes, it should be relatively simple to port 
Lites (the 4.4Lite-based single-server that runs on top of Mach) to this 
particular microkernel, which, if I remember correctly, is OSF's 
microkernel.
