I've noticed the same thing w/ my IIsi. For the IIsi, it's actually a
minor design defect. I usually open the sound control panel and raise then lower
the volume (the problem's more frequent at low volume). Also, cleaning the
contacts to the speaker (w/ a pencil eraser) helps too.
