There are some commonalities, but not too many. Where there are
commonalities, their sources will definitely help. I wish, though,
that we had access to some of the same documentation that they do.

Won't help X11R6. We've got that, too... ;-)
I poked around in the kernel sources and they don't appear to support
NuBus devices, yet. At least not on first glance. They only support
the internal video, which is probably quite different on those machines.
Again, this is only from a cursory look at the sources.
