I think it's a bug with the kerberos stuff, though I'm not sure. I
didn't install the kerberos stuff, and I don't have a problem. Though I'm
very interested as I want to get it up & running on my system.

If you can live w/o the kerberos stuff, just pull telnet out of the
base distribution & you'll be fine.
