This isn't quite true yet.
On a MacII, with a toby frame buffer card, and a Samsung black and white video card, only the toby card will work at the same time as ethernet. The Samsung card works fine by itself, but has what might be an interrupt conflict with the ethernet card, even using a -current (June3) kernel.
