After some working, I finially got pppd and everything working, so I 
could use the Internet. Well, after a random amount of time I would be 
cut off. This could not be the ISP, because I would never experience this 
under the Mac OS (these cut-offs were many in number).

I found out that this would happen whenever I tried opening a second 
Internet app on a different virtual console with dt. Such as having lynx 
and ftp open at the same time. Rarely, I would be able to get two apps up 
and running with no problem, but that is really rare.

It would also happen when I only had one connection open, and someone 
tried to telnet in...

Sometimes it happens when I only have one app open, but that is rare. 

Any help would be greatly appreciated...
