I was so excited when I saw that post from Allen
to 040 testers! I've been lurking on the list for
1.5 years waiting for an 040 solution, and maybe
soon I can stop holding my breath!!

Anyway, I have a Centris 610 (which I am soon going
to try to hack to a Quadra 610 with a _REAL_ 040,
not a crippled LC040, grrr) with a 1.2 GB HD, 
109MB root, 340MB usr, 36MB swap (someday soon I will
be increasing the RAM), the rest MacOS

I have not yet made filesystems on the partitions, I 
just got too eager to try booting the quadra kernels...
was this a mistake?

Perhaps I have the bogus kernels Allen mentioned...
