Add `options UCONSOLE' to your kernel configuration and build a new
kernel.  (Don't forget to do a `make clean', of course!)

I don't know of any changes to the ADB code.  I sure hope there haven't
been any. ;-)  Nevertheless, it can't hurt to update your source and try
again.
