This is probably because your video hardware isn't supported yet. Not
all internal video devices are suppoted, nor are all video boards,
although boards are usually probed and attached even if they don't work
very well under NetBSD.

Do you see at least a line starting with the word "grf0" in your boot
message? (you can reproduce the same message by dmesg command) If not,
you are out of luck for the moment.

If you do, then you've probably forgot to make devices.  As root, go to
/dev directory and do "./MAKEDEV grf0 grf1" to create the device files.
And see if it improves the situation.
