While I'm not aware of anything that absolutely _must_ be updated for the
1.1 -> 1.2 upgrade in /etc, it's probably a good idea to at least get
rc, rc.local, and netstart (as a minimum). Make sure to unpack that
distribution set elsewhere and make backups of the originals; you'll have
to re-edit them to add your local changes.
