1) vipw constantly tells me "the passwd file is busy"

2) ppp-up "can't find pppd"

3) I get frequent segmentation faults and core dumps with just about every
   program I run.

4) None of the paths in my .cshrc and .profiles seem to work consistently. I
   often have to indicate the path by hand when I run a program.

5) Don't even get me STARTED on X Windows.

Sigh...
