hello everyone
Im an avid NetBSD user
and like its system interface
HOWEVER
my problems with getting the point to point protocol to work
are becoming overwelming
if I can not access the net from my NetBSDOS I will erase the whole 
thing

here are my system stats

Macintosh LC III
m68k 68030 at 25Mhz
FPU Emulation
running NetBSD1.2 Generic Kernel 77
and MacOS 7.5.5 
Im reinstalling AGAIN for the n-th time
and I really need to get things settled with ppp
I can DIAL ppp up
in other words I dail up earthlink.net
from NetBSD
the carrier is detected
but the server is unreachable or there is no route to host
I can neither send nor recieve data
pppstats shows up zero
I need to know what Im doing wrong... SOON

please help if you can
ps.
Im also looking at OpenBSD but all their distrib kernels (bsd20.tar.gz) 
are in corupted tar archives, so no luck there :P
