=09If 'pico' doesn't work now, you need to ensure you have
=09/usr/local/bin in your path - try adding=20
=09=09set path=3D(/usr/local/bin /sbin /usr/sbin /bin /usr/bin)
=09to /etc/csh.cshrc

=09(1) Create /usr/local/bin if it isn't already there, dont
=09    worry if you get an error message - it just means you
=09    already have a /usr/local/bin!. The -p option says to
=09    create /usr/local as well if needed.
=09(2) Move the tarfile to /usr/local/bin
=09(3) Go there yourself :)
=09(4) tar eXtract Verbose Preserve_file_permissions gZipped File
=09    pico.tar.gz... Tar is a perfect unix command, terse, cryptic,
=09    & powerful. Think of it as a really big gun with dozens of
=09    different triggers and a tendancy to point at your feet :)
=09(5) Remove the tarfile now that we have done with it.=20
=09(6) Rebuild the hash table that is used to speed up finding
=09    programs in your path. If you dont type this you need to
=09    logout & back in before the shell will find pico.
