I have been running X for some time in monochrome mode on my NetBSD
machine which has a Radius 20" monitor. As of late I have tried to run
Taras' 1.2A #7 Generic color kernel on my machine. What happens is that
it fails during boot with the following messages:
MACVID0 at Nubus0: Radius Precision Color 8
Possible modes: 0x80 0x81 0x82 0x83
SM: Unknown slot manager routine 0x11
SM: Unknown slot manager routine 0x8
Panic: Kernel jump to zero
Stopped at _Debugger +0x6 : unlk a6
I am very interested in getting color X to work on my machine. I am an
experience programmer, but I have no experience with PC video
programming. Could someone provide some guideance as to how this can be
fixed?
