This is true. Both the LC-II and the LC-III are supported with MRG code
in post 1.2 GENERIC Kernels, and should work with either SCSI driver. I
believe the rule of thumb on the SCSI Drivers is, if the old one works
use it, otherwise try running with the SBC driver.
