Hi,
I really slipped a cog in my mental recall on this one. Actually, what
I was trying to think of was the fact that for regular users "$" is the
prompt for bourne or korne shell and "%" is typically the default prompt
for the C shell. You are correct that "#" is used to indicate the
super-user prompt.
