If you have a machine with a 68LC040 processor in it (some Performa, LC,
Centris, and low-end Quadra models, as well as several PowerBooks), no
amount of coaxing an existing kernel binary will make NetBSD run on your
machine. There is a bug in the floating point emulator that will prevent
proper operation on such a machine.
If this isn't the type of processor in your machine, there may be
alternatives. Please let us know the specifics of your environment
(hardware, NetBSD version, kernel version).
