Thanks to all who helped me with my CDROM problem (have now found docs at
www.macbsd.com). After executing "sh MAKEDEV cd0", this created cd0a & cd0d
in /dev. I mounted the CD with "mount -t cd9660 -o ro /dev/cd0a /cdrom" but
this failed with parity errors as follows :

sbc0: parity error!
sbc0: parity error!
sbc0: parity error!
sbc0: parity error!
sbc0: parity error!
sbc0: no REQ for next phase, abort
sbc0: reset SCSI bus for TID=1 LUN=0
sbc0: parity error!
sbc0: parity error!
sbc0: parity error!
sbc0: parity error!
panic: ncr5380_scsi_cmd: polled request, abort failed
--- and into the debugger!!

I rebooted and tried again with cd0a & cd0d :

sbc0: parity error!          ;5 times
cd0(sbc:1:0):medium error, data= 2e 4f 43 6f 75 6c 64 20 6e 6f
cd9660: Input/output error

Is there some easy answer to the above? I'm using NetBSD 1.2, an LCII, a
GENERIC15sbc kernel, a Mediavision Reno CD.
