Two suggestions:

1) disable the PowerCentral control panel.  I've found it to be 
incompatible with NetBSD on my IIci.  BTW, I'm fairly sure that it'll 
still use the 50 MHz '030, just not the cache (yeah, I know, that's half 
the performance gone right there )-:

2) try using a standard Apple mouse if you still have one.  Occasionally 
non-standard ADB devices will cause a problem (most are better behaved 
than that, tho ;-)
