Actually, Taras was so kind as to roll the color code into an LKM, so you 
can link it into any kernel now (well, okay, any recent kernel, since he 
compiled it sometime in January).  So, you might want to grab a kernel 
which is slightly more recent, and then grab Taras' video_lkm module.  I 
can't remember quite where the ftp site is at the moment, but it should 
be fairly easy to find.
