Ooops!  I tried to use a shell escape to stick the text of my script in
my "Minor Annoyance" post and it probably didn't work.

Here's the text of the script:

p=`cd /proc; sync ; grep -l '^pppd' */statu* | sed 's,^\([0-9]*\)/.*$,\1,'`
if [ -n "$p" ]; then
popclient [my options omitted...]
   else
fi

Now _that_ should work (that god for dt and cut-and-paste!)
