Sounds like you have MacOS Virtual Memory or RAMdoubler turned on in
your system (or, is LCII a 68020 machine?).  Turn 'em both off if you
do.

BTW, 4Meg RAM seems a bit low for NetBSD.  You'll be much more
confortable with 8Meg.
