Hi Folks,

I installed the April 6th snapshot on a SE/30 that I want to use as a router
for my (28k8) line to work. Slip is already working great, five minutes after
it booted :)

My problem is that I would like to compile a custom kernel and some other
software, but the assembler (gas) is exiting with an assertion error:

The same problem occurs when I try to compile other software like ircii or
apache. Have tried to change the Optimization level to 0 and that sometimes
works... help! :)
